Simulated board exams.

Biggest problem I faced: mailing address. We are moving tomorrow.
Spent some time thinking what address I’m gonna write.

I really should sleep before the boards. Brain cells worked today simply because I was able to sleep last night. We still have to work on their consistency though. They won’t answer problems involving calculations. Also, they were singing gwiyomi 2 hours into the exam.

Organic chemistry will be the end of me. I was not able to answer a thing! This is what you get when you watch Taiwanese series while studying.

Fear paralyzes, yes. But with a little tweaking, it can also do you good. Let it all sink in, focus on it, and make it your reason to give your best fight.

Last night was supposed to be a date with Jason Mraz. But it looks like the universe is guarding my heart and reserving it for Sato alone, hence my could’ve been love story with Mraz was cut even before it started. The front- ate Joie and I were called before the presence of our landlady and her ever enthusiastic middleman. But that is not the story. What we did after is.

For another set of reasons, we went to Starbucks where we ended up stalking a gwapong kuya animator who was busily drawing a lion with his techie stuff. Later on, his friend arrived. Ayos. 2 na silang gwapong kuya animator. Sadly, taken na pala sila. By each other.

When we were already about to go home, it dawned upon us that we haven’t watched Iron Man 3 yet. And since everything has a purpose, we decided to know what that purpose is. In other words, we watched Iron Man 3 in Eastwood at 11 pm. Sanguine attacks can be dangerous. There were only 6 people in the cinema, us and 2 couples. Aaaaannd, light bulb! Why not maximize the Iron Man 3 experience by making it 4D? Good thing we did not push with that idea. I hope the couples who were with us were not in the brink of breaking up though. Because even if we did not push the 4D thing, we still had our own world in there.

Some of the oh so fantastic insights we gained from Iron Man:
1. It’s hard to be a superhero’s girlfriend. You live with the constant threat of being kidnapped and falling from high places. So if you plan to be one, make sure you know a really good therapist.
2. It’s good to have a hobby.
3. The hardest role in the movie is that of Jarvis’. He has to arrange everything from gifts to battle tactics.
4. I want my own Jarvis. Jarvis, take the exam.
5. It’s hard to have celebrity friends. Thor wasn’t there to help Iron Man when he needed him the most because he has his own shooting in another universe.
6. Pepper Pots is based from a true person- ate Joie.
7. We make our own demons.

And to end the night, we went up and down an escalator trying to take a good picture. So yes, there never was a good one.

We went home at 2 am. And I have simulated board exams by 7am. This is what I want a Jarvis for T.T

It’s an everyday battle between my flesh and my spirit, my past and my present, and the lies I hear and my identity. Everyday I choose who I allow to win. It’s not the peaceful life I long for. But in the end it’s still better. What will you do with a peaceful life? A life where you fought for a cause is way cooler and heavier. It’s an everyday battle and each one won makes me better. Things are not easier but I am tougher and happier.

There are times when it feels like your digestive organs are being constantly rearranged inside your gastric cavity. Things you believe are proven false right before your very eyes. Things fall apart. Emo tumblr posts only mean one thing- it’s one of those times. The amazing thing is when you can still eat despite the reshuffling. Because in the end, it is just a feeling. Your stomach is really not going anywhere. Same is true with your gall bladder. it is okay. The feeling says something is wrong. Could be true. But what’s important is, everything is still in its proper place. And as long as your small intestine is not crawling up towards your esophagus, it’s just a minor malfunction. Don’t make a mountain out of a molehill.
I am not seeing the rain but I believe in underground springs.

Pictures are time cheats. For that single moment that picture was taken, you manage to make time stand still. It’s sad that they are now degraded to vanity tools.
People leave. You can’t stop them. You can hate them forever or you can fight the battle so that they will still have somewhere to come back to.
